Drove home in the ice pellets last night — and from the look of the deck rail we got about 3 inches of snow during the night. But the deck thermometer is over 40 already . . . don’t think it will last long. And it won’t keep me from going out and melting glass today!
Wednesday I met with a local woman who is going to be using my beads in her jewelry designs — she is great and her jewelry is trendy and reasonably priced — look for it around Tremont and Peoria!
The older chickens have been out and about (until today’s snow, that is) and are happy campers — all the chickens have been laying eggs right through the dark days of winter — and soon will be eating fresh tender weeds as they are pulled out of the garden! Yet another cycle has been completed!
